Parkside Hospital – Healthcare

Davis Construction was assigned to this £900,000 healthcare project with works consisting of the refurbishment of Parkside Hospital’s existing ward. This involved the formation of 10 new en-suite bedrooms to provide comfort and convenience to patients, a new reception area for staff and patients to enjoy, and a new nurse’s bases. We upgraded the facilities and kept them in line with modern private healthcare standards.

With the works carried out in a live hospital environment, noise levels had to be carefully controlled to avoid disturbing the recovery of patients. We therefore took every care to ensure that the initial work, including a strip out of existing areas and the formation of new partition walls, was completed with as little disruption as possible.

The installation of a new nurse call system, medical gas, bespoke en-suites and bedroom furniture, as well as all power and decorative aspects of the project, were completed within the tight 14-week timeframe given to us by Parkside Hospital.
