Aspects of this construction included strip foundations, block & beam ground floors, brick/block cavities, precast concrete first floors, concrete staircases, roof trusses, slate tile coverings & flat roofs, UPVC windows & doors, UPVC fascia/soffit/guttering, and the finishing feature of external balconies.
Alongside the construction of the accommodation itself, the project also incorporated the development of a shared access road, external works and services. All were delivered to a high standard, in spite of challenging circumstances surrounding the build.
“The project faced many issues, mostly around COVID-19 and subsequent issues with third parties,” Mr. Wilson explained.
“Davis Construction managed these issues as best as feasibly possible to ensure quick delivery of the project in line with our funding requirements.”
